American singer Britney Spears gave her first appearance in the year 1992 on a national television program 'Star Search' as a contestant. Later she starred in Disney's 'The New Mickey Mouse Club'. In the year 1997, Britney released her debut album 'Baby one more time'. The album sold over twenty five million copies worldwide and also topped Billboard 200, giving her a pop icon status. The album included tracks such as 'You drive me crazy', 'Baby one more time', 'sometimes' and more.
After a successful release of her first album, she released her second 'Oops...I did it again' in 2000. The album was a great hit and sold more than 13, 00,000 units in its first week of release breaking the record of highest sales record by a solo artist. The album was rewarded with diamond certification by RIAA.

In the year 2004, she launched her first album containing her greatest hits collection namely 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative'. In 2005, she released a remixed album 'B In The Mix: The Remixes' which sold one lac copies in US after four years of its release.
